Nothing goes together quite like tacos and Camarena margaritas. That’s why we collabed with the taqueros featured in MUNCHIES’ hit docuseries, Todos Los Tacos, on margarita recipes that pair perfectly with some of our favorite tacos.


Spicy Pineapple Margarita

1.5 oz. Camarena Silver

Pineapple Juice

RIM: Chamoy and Tajin®

GARNISH: Pineapple Wedge



Dip the rim of a rocks glass in chamoy, then coat with Tajín®. Fill glass with ice, then add Camarena. Top with pineapple juice, and stir to combine. Garnish with pineapple wedge. ¡Salud!



Vegetarian/Vegan Tacos

Watermelon Margarita

Crafted By Lala's Gorditas Owner Steve Pizzini | Serves 12

375 mL Camarena Reposado

¾ cup of Triple sec or orange juice

2.5 qt. Fresh watermelon juice

.5 qt. Fresh squeezed lime juice

6 Tb. Fresh ginger juice

2 cups spicy simple syrup (2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, 2 cups chopped jalapeños)

RIM: Kosher salt and toasted red chili powder

GARNISH: Watermelon wedge



Combine sugar, water and jalapeños in a saucepan, and heat to a medium boil. Cool, then strain out the jalapeños. Add to a serving carafe, along with Camarena, triple sec (or orange juice), watermelon juice, ginger juice and lime juice. Mix and serve in ice-filled glasses rimmed with salt and chili powder. Garnish with a watermelon wedge. Repeat as needed. ¡Salud!

Passion Fruit Margarita

1.5 oz. Camarena Silver

.5 oz. Triple sec

.75 oz. Lime juice

.75 oz. Passion fruit juice

.5 oz. Pineapple agave

RIM: Sugar



Add Camarena, triple sec, lime juice, passion fruit juice and pineapple agave to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass rimmed with sugar. ¡Salud!
